Knowledge & Learning week

Continuous learning is at the core of our lives. How we learn and teach is in constant evolution and the dawn of the 21st century is by far no exception. #LearningTomorrow is about how innovative solutions can address the current and future issues related to education. This theme week is therefore an opportunity to offer a continuation to this theme and build upon its synergies.

SwissSkills is committed to the organisation and consolidation of the Swiss Skills Championships, enables young professionals to participate in international championships (WorldSkills and EuroSkills) and provides media exposure for the best of them.

The Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training SFUVET is Switzerland’s expert organisation for vocational education and training. It offers basic and continuing training to VET professionals, conducts VET research, contributes to the development of occupations and supports international cooperation in vocational and professional education and training.

Ethafa is the Arabic word for STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. The Ethafa project was started to rethink how to bridge the gap in tech education and how to engage more Arabic girls in STEAM and technology disciplines. The Ethafa kit teaches programming and electronics to kids from 10 to 12 years through playful interactive stories, and through an approach based on gender neutrality and cultural inclusion.
