Swiss Pavilion to empower youth
How to participate?
As part of this initiative, teams of up to 10 students are invited to submit their proposals by 28 February 2021. The selected projects will gain international exposure at Expo 2020 Dubai during the Circular Economy Month of the Swiss Pavilion in October 2021.
What to deliver?
Projects are expected to be ready for implementation on the market. The focus area should address at least one type of waste:
- electronic waste,
- water waste,
- food waste,
- plastic waste,
- or construction waste.
Each solution can be of different scale, technological advancement, geographical focus or degree of specificity. Nevertheless, the focus area must prioritise youth empowerement in their implementation.
What to expect?
Selected project will be exposed at the Swiss Pavilion and team members will be invited to take part in additional activities, such as workshops and joint panels, leading to unique networking opportunities.
Mentors from Swiss universities and companies will advise the teams, facilitating exchanges and strategic connections for future collaborations.
Finalists will be given opportunities to further develop their project, in partnership with our judges, mentors and local incubators.
The best proposal will receive an award during a ceremony at the Swiss Pavilion!
